We are a small family-run native plant nursery located in Friendship, MD and Washington, DC. We grow plants with wild genetics and are working diligently to convert our stock to local ecotypes. Our nursery focuses on best environmental practices using organic and compost-based fertilizers and without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or growth hormones all in recycled pots.
Jeremy Tidd, Bona Terra owner, has over 20 years of growing, designing, installation, and maintenance experience, and has designed and installed over 1,000 urban conversation gardens.

Mission statement: We grow native plants with a focus on the local genetics necessary to restore diversity in the Chesapeake eco-region.
Vision statement: Providing people and businesses the resources to preserve our at-risk habitats, to restore ecosystems, and to rethink environmental action on micro and macro levels.
